Why Gethsemane?
We, at Gethsemane Cemetery & Memorial Gardens, we are dedicated to helping you make final arrangements that truly celebrate the life of your loved ones. We recognize the significance of this event in a family’s history and the importance of establishing a memorial that will edify the legacy of your loved ones and inspire the generations to come. Surrounding one of the largest spring-fed lakes of its kind, the Gardens are both beautiful and peaceful. We commit to providing you with sound advice, the best personal service in the industry, as well as competitive pricing.
We are one of the only family-owned and operated cemeteries in the Charlotte area; thus, we have a personal commitment to excellence. The Garden was established over 30 years ago by Northside Baptist Church and has served over 15,000 Charlotte-area families. Now owned by Dr. John Gouch, a Charlotte native, we will continue to offer the highest level of service to our community. Dr. Gouch’s son, John Gouch, Jr., is the General Manager. Together they have assembled a staff to serve the families they have the privilege of working with.
Whether planning at the time of greatest need or making an Advanced Plan, it’s our desire that you understand what is needed to memorialize and honor your loved one with dignity. Allowing us to assist you with your plans is a charge we take very seriously. The Gethsemane Gardens family is here for your family with our own tradition of caring.
